A: Bath lifts (such as the Bathmaster Deltis , Sonaris 2, Whisper Ultra Quiet and Bellavita Bath lifts) will fit any standard size tub (less then 18" deep, rectangular in shape on the inside and 27' or less in width) including Jacuzzi tubs.
The Petermann 48 or Petermann 58 bath lifts will accommodate Jacuzzi tubs that are deeper then 18" . We recommend taking the following measurements of the bath tub, taking some pictures and giving us a call to review and ensuring the proper fit.
Important Factors for selecting the proper bath lift:
Depth of the inside of the bath tub at the center
Length of the floor of the bath tub
Total Width of the bath tub (outside to outside)
Is the bath tub rectangular or oval in shape on the inside?
Is the bath tub a Jacuzzi or garden style tub?
Is there any texture on the floor of the bath tub?
Weight of the individual that will be using the bath lift ?
Does the individual have difficulty moving along a bench while seated?
Is the individual user able to stand up without assistance from a dining room chair?
